This is the most amazing thing. The Stranger has been shortlisted for an Aurealis Award – in not just one, but two categories:
- Best Science Fiction Novel
- Best Horror Novel
The Aurealis Awards just happen to be Australia’s premier speculative fiction awards. They take a broad view to the categories of science fiction, fantasy or horror, recognising that ‘speculative fiction’ takes many forms.
